dc.description | El presente trabajo es el resultado del estudio etnohistórico y arqueológico de Pillco Cajas, perteneciente a la parroquia La Unión del cantón Santa Isabel, provincia del Azuay; esta zona se encuentra inmersa dentro de los relictos de un bosque nativo primario en los declives cordilleranos de la cuenca media del Río Jubones. Este estudio tiene como fin identificar los modelos de asentamiento y las actividades que se desarrollaron dentro del sitio. Este estudio es importante debido a que nos permite mostrar los rasgos culturales y las características que identificaron a esta zona. Para esto se ha recurrido a la prospección y al análisis del material cultural que permiten acercarnos a los diferentes estilos cerámicos de esta área; dichos estilos pertenecen, en su mayoría, a la tradición alfarera de Tacalshapa, aunque también se encontró cerámica que, posiblemente, corresponde al Período Formativo. Además se pudo identificar un estilo y modelo cerámico propio del lugar. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | This investigation is the result of ethno-historical and archaeological study of Pillco Cajas which belongs to the parish La Union of Santa Isabel, Azuay Province. This area is immersed within the relicts of primary native forest in the mountainous slopes of the middle basin of the Jubones River. This study has the aim of identify the settlement patterns and activities developed within this place. This project is important because it allows us to show the cultural traits and characteristics that identified this area. For that, a prospecting and analysis of cultural material that allow to approach the different ceramic styles in this area have been used. These styles belong mostly to the pottery tradition of Tacalshapa. Although, ceramic which possibly corresponds to the Formative Period were also found. Moreover, it could identify a ceramic style and model own of that place. | es_ES |
