| Abstract: | BACKGROUND: The evaluation of psychomotor development is the most important phase during the first five years old due to it is a stage of maturation, neuronal plasticity and important achievements. Areas such as: motor, cognitive social and language with significant progress. Therefore, it is essential to detect any delays that the child could present or be in risk of suffering in order to intervene with the appropriate therapeutic measures.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the psychomotor development of children from 2 to 5 years of the CIBV "Los Pitufos del Valle". Cuenca 2016.
METHODOLOGY: The study will be descriptive, prospective and transversal using quantitative and qualitative modes. It will be considered a population of 180 children of the CIBV "Los Pitufos del Valle" taking as convenience sample around 120 children in ages between 2 to 4 years. The method of data collection will be of primary source through the application of the psychomotor development test (TEPSI). SPSS version 20 will be used for tabulation coming from the application of the test. The results will be presented using dynamic tables, matrices, bar and pie graphs using Microsoft Excel 2013. These will be complemented with statistics of central tendency, dispersion and association that will allow to evaluate the psychomotor development of the selected sample.
USE OF THE RESULTS: The benefit will be for parents and the CIBV "Los Pitufos del Valle" that they will be in charge of providing treatment in psychomotor development |
| Description: | ANTECEDENTES: La evaluación del desarrollo psicomotor es de vital importancia durante los cinco primeros años de vida ya que es una etapa de maduración, plasticidad neuronal y adquisiciones importantes con significativos progresos en las diferentes áreas: motora, cognitiva, social y lenguaje. Es por ello fundamental detectar cualquier retraso que el niño presente o esté en riesgo de padecerlo para intervenir con las medidas terapéuticas adecuadas.
OBJETIVO GENERAL: Evaluar el desarrollo psicomotor de niños y niñas de 2 a 5 años del CIBV “Los Pitufos del Valle”. Cuenca 2016.
METODOLOGÍA: El estudio será de tipo descriptivo, prospectivo y transversal en modalidad cuantitativa y cualitativa. Se considerará como población a 180 niños y niñas del CIBV “Los Pitufos del Valle” tomando como muestra por conveniencia a 120 entre 2 a 4 años de edad. El método de recolección de datos será de fuente primaria mediante la aplicación del test de desarrollo psicomotor (TEPSI). Para la tabulación de los datos se utilizará SPSS versión 20, que agrupará la información procedente de la aplicación del test. A partir de esta información se elaborarán tablas dinámicas, matrices, gráficos de barras y pasteles utilizando Microsoft Excel 2013, complementado con estadísticos de tendencia central, dispersión y asociación que permitirán evaluar el desarrollo psicomotor de la muestra seleccionada.
USO DE LOS RESULTADOS: El beneficio será tanto para los padres como para la institución que estará pendiente de brindar un tratamiento en el desarrollo psicomotor |
