dc.description | El verde urbano dentro de las ciudades contemporáneas se ha vuelto una prioridad, pues se visualiza su valor para un mejor ambiente y su relación cercana a los usos de suelo. En muchos casos se llega a la confrontación de dos ideas, el mantener suelo permeable o pavimentar, perdiéndose así vegetación. Sin embargo para el caso se plantea una tercera alternativa, la posibilidad de conservar verde urbano sin desconocer la necesidad de ocupar sitios para el desarrollo de actividades humanas. Con estos antecedentes surge la inquietud de conocer el estado en el que se encuentran las áreas verdes en parte de la zona más antigua de la ciudad, buscando así contestar la pregunta: ¿Es posible tener una Cuenca Histórica más verde? Se revisan ejemplos sobre conservación de áreas verdes, las cuales en su seguimiento trabajan mediante índices que muestran su estado y evolución. En el caso de los usos de suelo se revisan los desarrollados en áreas históricas de ciudades declaradas patrimonio por la UNESCO logrando así contextualizar el estado de Cuenca frente a un panorama amplio. El presente trabajo se desarrolla en cinco capítulos, en los dos primeros se contextualiza la temática ubicando el área de estudio de la ciudad de manera temporal y su estado frente al contexto latinoamericano y mundial, en los tres últimos se hace un análisis concreto del estado de áreas verdes que concluye con una propuesta de determinantes que mejorarían las condiciones de verde urbano en la ciudad contestando así la pregunta de investigación. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | The urban green within cities in contemporary times has become a priority, because their value for better urban environment. The green areas are linked to activities on the ground. In many cases it has confrontation of two ideas, maintaining permeable soil or paving, so losing vegetation. However in case would be a third alternative, the possibility of having green conditions considering the necessity to occupy sites for human activities. With this ideas was born the inquietude to know the state of green areas in the historic zone of the city. So seeking the answer to the question: is it possible to have a greener Historic Center on Cuenca? Examples of places where efforts have been made in the conservation of green areas are reviewed. To know the way to monitoring by green indices, showing their status and evolution. In the case of city activities we reviewed those developed in historic areas of heritage cities by UNESCO. With that information it’s have the possibility to contextualize the state of Cuenca in wide environment. This work is divided into five chapters, the first two explain the subject and create the environment of locate of the study area and the temporary city. Also here are status of the city in the Latin American and global context. In the last three chapters are a specific analysis of the state of green areas which concludes with a proposal determinants. These determinants improve the conditions of green areas in the city and answering the research question. | es_ES |
