Propuesta de planes institucionales de gestión de riesgos para la Facultades de: Ingeniería, Jurisprudencia, Ciencias Políticas y Sociales y Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de Cuenca

Abstract

Within the constitutional mandate and existing national regulations the obligation of all public and private safeguard the health and safety of workers is established institution, promoting a healthy and safe environment.

On security, the Department of Risk Management is one of the implementing agencies of the Public Security System, which holds the same rectory on risk management within the country. That is why it has established a format for the preparation of an Institutional Risk Management Plan.

The objective of this plan is to protect people and property from an institution, compared to negative effects, whether natural or anthropogenic, through reducing previously identified risks. Establishing how to act before, during and after an emergency arise.

For this work made the proposal of the Institutional Plan in the Faculties of Engineering, Law, Political and Social Sciences and Philosophy, Letters and Science Education at the University of Cuenca; in which we analyzed the conceptual framework of the subject itself, there has been a current of each of the faculties and proceeded to carry out risk plan description. Within the plan has identified occupational risks per job, the risk assessment of fire was performed by applying the matrix MESERI, the protocol in an emergency was made, the First Aid Brigade was formed, the evacuation and rescue brigade and the fire brigade and ended with the recovery process. Later it was identified in flat safety signs and points of contact for each faculty.
