dc.description | ANTECEDENTES: Los choferes de taxis generalmente están sometidos a un alto nivel de estrés; además casi todo el tiempo permanece sedente, favoreciendo el exceso de peso debido a la escasa actividad física e ingesta de calorías, factores que contribuyen a enfermedades cardiovasculares (hipertensión arterial) y metabólicas (diabetes y obesidad). OBJETIVO GENERAL: Determinar los Problemas de salud relacionados al estilo de vida de los choferes de taxis de la ciudad de Cuenca 2016. METODOLOGÍA: La investigación fue de tipo descriptiva cuantitativa donde el universo es de 3600 choferes de taxis, la muestra es de 94. El método de estudio fue a través de un muestreo no- probabilístico de tipo casual, se aplicó la encuesta ENETS 2009-2010, misma que recogió información de taxistas acerca de las condiciones en que trabajan cotidianamente, y respecto de aspectos asociados a su salud y bienestar. Los datos recolectados fueron transcritos al programa Spss. RESULTADOS: Los resultados obtenidos de este estudio, se utilizaron para identificar los problemas de salud relacionados al estilo de vida de los choferes de taxis de la Ciudad de Cuenca 2016. Tenemos que de 94 choferes de taxis encuestados en los diferentes sectores, el 87,2% son hombres y el 12,9% son mujeres; el 45,7% de hombres y el 5,3% de mujeres presentan obesidad, siendo este el problema más relevante; seguido del, 40,4% de hombres y el 5,3% de mujeres que no realizan actividad física | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | BACKGROUND: Taxi drivers are generally subject to a high level of stress; well most of the time remains seated, promoting excess weight due to reduced physical activity and calorie intake, factors that contribute to cardiovascular disease (hypertension) and metabolic (diabetes and obesity). GOAL: Determine the health problems related to lifestyle taxi drivers in the city of Cuenca 2016. METHODOLOGY: The research was quantitative descriptive where the universe is 3600 taxi drivers, the sample is 94. The study method was through a non-probability sampling casual type, ENETS survey was conducted from 2009 to 2010, it taxi drivers who collected information about the conditions in which they work every day, and for aspects related to their health and welfare. The collected data were transcribed to Spss program. RESULTS: The results of this study were used to identify health problems related to lifestyle taxi drivers in the city of Cuenca 2016. We have 94 taxi drivers surveyed in the different sectors, 87.2% are men and 12.9% are women; 45.7% of men and 5.3% of women are obese, this being the most important problem; followed by 40.4% of men and 5.3% of women who do not exercise | es_ES |
