Elaboración de un sistema de gestión para los residuos sólidos provenientes de los talleres del GAD provincial de Morona Santiago

Abstract

This project consitio in the development of a management system for solid waste from the workshops of the Provincial GAD of Morona Santiago; since currently they do not have the adequate management of solid waste, hazardous, special and inert. For the development of the system was carried out: I) Revision of the legal framework that supports this theme; II) Identification and qualitative characterization using the * national list of hazardous chemicals, hazardous and special waste hazardous and special wastes, and used the * European list for inert waste; then was the quantitative characterization of solid waste from historical data obtained from primary sources, which in this case is the inventory of raw materials which entered in Morona Santiago GAD Provincial workshops for the year 2015; obtained data were III) Propose lines of action alternatives based on the ranking of solid waste that proposes the MAE to reduce the quantity and volume of the same; and finally IV) Was proposed to the management system of solid waste, based on the system of environmental management with Norma ISO 14001:2004, which consists of procedures to manage each of the waste in such a way that they promote an improvement in the image of the institiucion against environmental issues.
