dc.description | Se encuestaron 100 profesionales médicos respecto al tema de la eutanasia, que se encontraban inscritos en el Colegio Médico y que residían en la ciudad de Cuenca. Sin tomar en cuenta edad, sexo, especialidad y centro de trabajo. Encuesta realizada en la ciudad de Cuenca- Ecuador de enero a mayo de 1995. Se encuentra que existe aprobación de la eutanasia. Se considera a la eutanasia un acto humanitario. La religión no es determinante para la práctica de esta. Las edades donde serías más aplicable son la niñez y la vejez. El método más empleado para aplicar la eutanasia sería desconexión de aparatos mecánicos de los que dependa el paciente. La autorización para esta práctica debería ser dada por el propio paciente y sus familiares más próximos. dc.description.abstract | 100 medical professionals were surveyed on the subject of euthanasia, which were registered at the Medical College and residing in the city of Cuenca. Regardless of age, gender, specialty and workplace. Survey in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador from January to May 1995. It finds approval of euthanasia. It is considered a humanitarian act of euthanasia. Religion is not decisive for the practice of this. Ages where you would be most applicable are childhood and old age. The most widely used method for euthanizing would disconnect the mechanical devices dependent patients.
