| Abstract: | Several factors are involved in the research and teaching relationship, although it seems obvious the link of these functions in the IES, this relationship is often hidden and is not used in the best way to get the most benefit. This document addresses the linkages and benefits that research brings to teaching and vice versa. The link between teaching and research is learning, because research is a process of learning itself. The aim of introducing aspects of the research activities in teaching is to significantly improve the results of both rather than to have a separate approach. The balance between these academic activities contributes to the training of students and teachers researchers and contributes to the development of society. Apart from the curricular content that can be strengthened by the results of research, one should consider all other aspects that research activities can support in teaching for students to develop other skills and abilities, and motivate them in continuing self-education. |
| Description: | Existen diferentes factores que se encuentran involucrados en la relación investigación y docencia, aunque parece evidente el nexo de estas funciones en la IES, estas interrelaciones muchas veces están ocultas y no se emplean de la mejor manera para sacar el máximo beneficio. El presente documento aborda los nexos y beneficios que la investigación aporta a la docencia y viceversa. El nexo entre la docencia e investigación es el aprendizaje, pues la investigación es un proceso de aprendizaje en sí. El objetivo de introducir aspectos de las actividades de la investigación en la docencia es mejorar considerablemente los resultados de ambas actividades en lugar de un enfoque independiente. El equilibrio entre estas actividades académicas aportará a la formación de los estudiantes y profesores investigadores y contribuirá al desarrollo de la sociedad. Aparte del contenido curricular que se puede ver fortalecido por los resultados de investigación, se debe considerar todos los otros aspectos que las actividades de investigación pueden apoyar en la docencia para que los estudiantes desarrollen otras destrezas y habilidades y se motiven en la autoeducación continua. |
