Abstract

The lack of existence of Helicobacter pylori studies with gastric cancer and premalignant conditions in our country, as well as the high incidence of this infection in our environment leads to the need for this work; using a clinical-descriptive study, getting to determine that Helicobacter pylori infection in the endoscopy service Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital is high and the correlation between histology and urease test method is 58 percent; the fastest and cheapest method is the urease test. Finally, it is found that if there is a relationship between Helicobacter pylori and pre-neoplastic conditions. For this we divide into 5 chapters our thesis. The first chapter is the introduction, in which we make a brief history of Helicobacter pylori. In Chapter II, we try to give an overview of microbiology and obtaining the bacteria in the gastric mucosa, so we summarize data epidemiológicosencontrados in various studies about Helicobacter pylori and diseases associated with this bacterium as erosive gastritis, peptic ulcer , intestinal metaplasia, ménétrier's disease, gastric polyp, dysplasia, Barrett's esophagus, gastric adenocarcinoma, gastric MALT lymphoma and functional dyspepsia. In Chapter III, we refer to the pathogenesis of Helicobacter pylori, including the determinants of pathogenicity, the same that will be dependent on the seed, subject dependent and dependent on other environmental factors. In this chapter, we also present the pathological antomía gastric adenocarcinoma. In Chapter IV we present on the general and specific objectives proposed. In turn, we explained about the method used in this thesis, the universe sample used, the procedures and techniques with their exclusion criteria; material used, statistical management; where we included results tables and graphs representative; discussion, where some jobs compared with the results found in our thesis; conclusions, the same as in our opinion were satisfactory. Finally, we add the annexes, which consist of the same photographs that reflect the work of the authors and the survey that we apply to every patient.
