Abstract

Chest CT is an invaluable diagnostic aid for evaluation and differential diagnosis of diffuse lung diseases, as we have seen even allows this study to define the condition based on the analysis of small structures in the lung. Through this study is descriptive purposeful clinical type is determined within the thoracic pathologies which is the use, indications and applications that are given to this method in our environment. This is how it concluded that the age group of 40-59 years was the largest in terms of lung pathology and that is the most susceptible rural polación. As for the provisional diagnosis the most frequent pathology is suggested pleural effusion, but the definitive diagnosis of lung cancer was the most numerous in this case due to the high sensitivity of this method with respect to the diseases of this type.
