dc.description | Estudio cuantitativo, trasversal retrospectivo, descriptivo, con el objetivo de determinar los factores de riesgo que influyeron en el contagio de VIH en pacientes hospitalizados del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso durante los años 1994-2004 y los objetivos específicos identificar las variaciones de dichos factores de riesgo. Se considera como universo las historias clínicas de estadística constantes en hospitalización de clínica. La muestra abarca 79 historias clínicas de pacientes con diagnóstico definitivo de infección por VIH o SIDA, mayores de 14 años de edad, vivos y muertos. Los datos recolectados en formularios, se tabularon en EPI-INFO y EXCEL. La mayor incidencia de VIH-SIDA se da en los 26 a 35 aïños de edad, con predominancia de varones sobre mujeres, tiene relevancia la conducta sexual. Otros factores presentes en la incidencia de la enfermedad, está la limitada instrucción y el estado social bajo. El desconocimiento sobre la gravedad de la enfermedad y por congiguiente la no utilización de preservativos en el 53.7de la muestra, es un factor preponderante para el contagio. Se revel atambién que la RTS no son registradas en el medio, pero si influyen para la infecciíon por VIH. La exposición a sangre y hemoderivados, así como el uso de drogas intravenosas no constituyen mayor riesgo en el estudio. Los datos de heterosexualidad expresan una mayor frecuencia de infección por VIH, el grupo que manifiesta tener un mayor número de parejas sexuales. dc.description.abstract | Quantitative, transversal retrospective, descriptive study with the objective of determining the risk factors influencing HIV infection in hospitalized patients in the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital during the years 1994-2004 and the specific objectives identify variations of such risk factors . Universe is considered as constant medical records in hospital clinical statistics. The sample covers 79 medical records of patients with definitive diagnosis of HIV infection or AIDS, over 14 years old, living and dead. The data collected in forms, was tabulated in EPI-INFO and EXCEL. The highest incidence of HIV-AIDS occurs in the 26-35 age Ainu, with predominance of men over women, sexual behavior is irrelevant. Other factors in the incidence of the disease is the limited education and low social status. Ignorance about the severity of the disease and congiguiente not using condoms in 53.7de sample is a major factor in the spread. Atambién was revealed that the RTS are not registered in the middle, but if infecciíon influence for HIV. Exposure to blood and blood products and intravenous drug use are not at increased risk in the study.
