| Abstract: | Our country is undergoing several changes in education, and one of them refers to the educational establishments’ architectural infrastructure.
Therefore, the Ministry of Education has developed a regulatory body of Types and New Standards for Educational Infrastructure, applied to new construction projects as well as projects for upgrading and readjustment of existing establishments.
The present graduation thesis is a study of two emblematic institutions of our city, and through analysis of the regulatory body of the Ministry of Education, develop a proposal to refurbish the existing infrastructure in one of the establishments surveyed.
The chosen establishment for the proposed refurbish has been the Antonio Avila Maldonado High School, in which has been performed an architectural draft that respects the environment where it is located and held the existing infrastructure that through the years have given its identity.
In other words, infrastructure that already owns the school has been largely occupied, as well as respected the areas needed to make functional spaces; and those spaces with gaps or that currently do not exist, adjust them to meet the new standards of educational infrastructure and incorporate them to the establishment, keeping in mind all the time throughout the performance to the students, administrative and service staff and the community that will benefit from this project. |
| Description: | Nuestro país está sufriendo varios cambios a nivel educativo, y uno de ellos se refiere a la infraestructura arquitectónica de los establecimientos.
Por tal motivo el Ministerio de Educación ha desarrollado un cuerpo normativo de Tipologías y Nuevos Estándares de Infraestructura Educativa, aplicado a proyectos de obra nueva así como a proyectos de repotenciación y readecuación de establecimientos ya existentes.
El presente trabajo de grado consiste en realizar un estudio de dos establecimientos emblemáticos de nuestra ciudad, y mediante el análisis del cuerpo normativo del Ministerio de Educación, generar una propuesta para repotenciar la infraestructura existente en uno de los establecimientos estudiados.
El establecimiento escogido para la propuesta de repotenciación ha sido el Colegio Antonio Ávila Maldonado en el que se realizó un anteproyecto arquitectónico que respete el entorno del lugar donde se encuentra ubicado así como la infraestructura existente a través de los años y que le han dado la identidad al mismo.
En otras palabras se ha ocupado en gran medida la infraestructura que ya posee el colegio, respetando las áreas necesarias para que todos los espacios sean funcionales; y aquellos espacios con deficiencias y que no existen actualmente ajustarlos a los nuevos estándares de infraestructura educativa e incorporarlos al establecimiento, teniendo en cuenta durante toda la actuación a los estudiantes, personal administrativo y de servicio y a la comunidad que se beneficiará de este proyecto. |
