Diseño de los procedimientos y programas operativos básicos para el sistema de gestión de la seguridad y salud ocupacional caso: Curtiembre Renaciente S.A.

Abstract

A Management System in Security and Occupational Health (MSSOH) is a management tool that is supported in two fundamental bases, the first one in complying with the official legislation about security and occupational health in the country and the second one, in the control and management of the risks that are present in each one of the areas of an organization. The characteristics of a MSSOH are based on the regulations of the audit system of working risks, which is integrated by: administrative management, technical management, human talent, and basic procedures and programs.

This work that will be a support for the MSSOH of CurtiembreRenaciente S.A. Company will be divided in four chapters. The first one will deal with the general situation of the company.

The second chapter, will be focused on explaining what a management system in security and occupational health?what its objectives, bases and components?and the legal regulation.

The third chapter, will describe what the company, explaining how the administrative management, technical management, management in human talent and management of the operational procedures and programs of the system.

In the fourth chapter, the proposal of the procedures that the company requires to implement will be explained in detail: research about accidents; professional incidents and illnesses; supervision of workers’ health; emergency and contingency plan; internal audits; security and health inspections; selection, use, and maintenance of personal protection equipment and working clothes and predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
