| dc.description | El presente trabajo de investigación analiza la influencia que han tenido las tendencias del Modernismo pictórico y el arte contemporáneo en el desarrollo del circuito del arte de Guayaquil en la primera década del nuevo milenio. Problemas tales como: la percepción de que existe cierto desconocimiento de algunos sectores del público sobre la obra de artistas locales de trayectoria y sobre las prácticas artísticas contemporáneas, el proceso de cambio generador del debate artístico y cultural en una ciudad marcada por la actividad comercial y las relaciones entre los integrantes del circuito del arte, son temas abordados desde una perspectiva vivencial en base a los testimonios de los propios protagonistas de la época analizada. Bajo esta óptica, se concluye la pertinencia de un acercamiento promotor de diálogos y acuerdos entre las partes involucradas, con el objetivo de lograr una mayor y más efectiva gestión cultural que sea integradora de todas las tendencias del arte y al mismo tiempo sirva para acelerar la dinámica cultural del Puerto Principal. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | This research work analyzes the influence that pictorial Modernism and contemporary art trends have had in the development of the art circuit of Guayaquil in the first decade of the new millennium. Problems such as the feeling that there is a certain lack of knowledge of the work of prominent local artists and of contemporary art practices among some groups of people, the process of change that generates artistic and cultural debate in a very commercial city, and the relationship among the members of the art circuit are issues addressed from an experiential perspective based on the testimonies of the protagonists of the period analyzed. From this perspective, the relevance of an approach that promotes dialogue and agreement among the parties involved is shaped with the aim of achieving greater and more effective cultural management that links all the art tendencies and at the same time helps to accelerate the cultural dynamics of Guayaquil, Ecuador’s main port. | es_ES |
